Earthquake

Well folks, today I experienced my very first earthquake. I have come to realize that Texas children are not taught too much in the earthquake department. The only thing I could remember was, "get to a door jam!" So after conferring with 2 or 3 co-workers, "Is this an earthquake?" "Yes, the building is shaking, so we are having an earthquake", I hurried myself to a door jam and squatted for the duration. Drew and I are fine. Our house is okay and Annie is too. Although, I wish I could have seen her when it struck. I bet she was very confused.

Singapore!

Hidy Ho! Drew and I spent a week in Singapore visiting Schuyler and Stewart and their 2 girls, Flynn and Paige. We toured the city, ate yummy food, did some learning, and had a blast! Here are some pictures.

Maggie's Singapore Tips
1. Singapore = Sauna
2. Be advised - If someone orders fried baby squid this is NOT little pieces like calamari. This is WHOLE baby squids - eyeballs and all - fried.
3. If you wear a flowy dress, you may be asked when your baby is due.

Happy Birthday Dad!

Happy 60th Birthday Dad / Fred / Freddie Boy!
I hope you have a wonderful day. Somebody in California loves you!
The questions with Tom Dolan always is, "Will Freddie or Tommy be in attendance?"
Here we see Fred making his first appearance during the wedding rehearsal.
The fun is about to begin.
Uh oh! The jig is up! Fred being scolded by the wedding coordinator.
Get in line mister!

Yes, Drill Sargeant!

Bootcamp.

I willingly enrolled myself in bootcamp.

I signed up and paid money to be in bootcamp.

Monday - Friday, 4 weeks, 5:30 AM - 6:30 AM.

It is exactly what it sounds like it would be. Running, push-ups, drills, weights, crunches...and I LOVE IT! I was a little skeptical on Monday morning, but it has turned out to be quite fun. The best part of the whole situation is when I am driving to work and I remember that I have already worked out! Wahoo! Will I turn into a fitness super hero? Only time will tell. Stay tuned.

Bye! Bye! Bye!

PS - This morning I learned that four dice are the same size as one serving size of cheese. Bum city! I wish I never met that dietitian.
